3 skills that help you become a successful leader

Honesty- honesty is huge part of being a leader being honest with people around you will help you gain trust with yourself and others and put you on the path you want to go as a leader. Being honest can have so many positive impacts on a group if you are the leader and really gets people comfortable with you.
- ways for me to develop this skill in a short term is just start being honest with myself and being honest to my peers if i feel there not reaching there full potential
- in order for me to become a successful leader in the long term i feel i still have to be honest with myself, if i feel I'm not where I'm suppose to be i need to be honest with myself and discipline myself to be the leader i should be
- i will measure the success of the acquisition of this skill by noticing my own improvement and others that have really seen a change in the way i approach situations
- everyone i surround myself with assist me to help me get to where i want be as a leader and let me know how i should do things properly in order for me to become a great leader.
volunteer- having volunteer experience is very important to possessing a leader within yourself because having experience in anything can help you in any field you want to get into.
- in order for me to gain experience and become a successful leader i will have to start volunteering within the community ex. the pan am games or just at local community centers that's dealing with the field i want to be apart of
- for the long term i will continue to keep volunteering at local communities and events that are being held dealing with sports
- measuring the success will determine if i get a job from the places i have been volunteering at and eventually get high end job which will lead me to a great career
- i feel everyone who has been around me will assist me ex. fellow employees, parents, students, and teachers will all have an impact on me
networking- personally i feel networking is the most important skill/ development plan to help you become a successful leader because getting your name out there while you volunteer at these communities centers, events, games going around the city really shows you are all over the map and shows you have the quality of being a great leader
- within the next 3-6 months in order for me to develop this skill i will need to get my name out there at every event i volunteer for tell them what program i am in and explain what future plans i have in store
- within the next 3- 5 years i hope this skill is developed and i have the opportunity to meet people that can get me to a high position than where i am.
- i will measure the success of the accusation of this skill by being where i want to be and determining if i put in the amount of work by networking myself properly
- People who i know that are very good at networking will have a huge impact on me by assisting me in the right direction
