- one of the most inspiring leaders to ever walk on this planet and have such a positive impact for decades is the greatest boxer to ever live Muhammad Ali
- Muhammad went though so much adversity dealing with racism, critics, even people in his own corner but he never made it get to him and continued to be a strong leader in and outside of the ring.
- the type of leadership Muhammad Ali displayed as a leader was competitive, being a champion in the 1960's and 1970's he dealt with a lot of racism and had to show his leadership by not showing anger but showing his competitiveness to win and completely ignoring the racist remarks towards him
- Ex. In 1964 Ali got his first fight against sonny listen a hard nose former convict who was favored almost by the entire country to win the fight. All the critics were talking negative about Ali saying hes not going to last 1 round against Liston and he shouldn't even take the fight, but even hearing all the negative critics Ali just proved them wrong by stepping into the ring and defeating Liston. It was because of Ali's competitive leadership he won that fight and not letting anything get to his head
- everything about Muhammad Ali's leadership style really motivates me and a style I emulate in sports, school, or just in my day to day life, i feel this way because i can relate with his competitive nature the way he went into the ring and how he was a leader outside of the ring very caring and forgiving but also serious. He will always have an affect on the way i look at life by the way he showed his leadership towards others.
